Union Budget 2026–27 Focuses on Growth, Jobs and Inclusive Development New Delhi, February 1, 2026 Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday presented the Union Budget 2026–27 in Parliament, outlining an ambitious roadmap for accelerating economic growth, strengthening manufacturing, expanding infrastructure, and building human capital under the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. The Budget, prepared for the first time at Kartavya Bhawan, is guided by three key “Kartavyas” — sustaining economic growth, fulfilling people’s aspirations, and ensuring inclusive development across regions and sectors. Fiscal Position and Estimates The government estimated total expenditure for FY 2026–27 at ₹53.5 lakh crore, while non-debt receipts are projected at ₹36.5 lakh crore.
