Horrifying Mystery: Indian Embassy Demands Probe After Sailor’s Body Returns from Venezuela with "Missing Organs"

The Indian Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela, has formally demanded a thorough and urgent investigation by Venezuelan authorities following a bone-chilling discovery regarding a deceased Indian seafarer.

The body of 33-year-old Indian sailor Rakesh Chauhan, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was repatriated to India in an entirely hollowed-out state, with medical examiners revealing that not a single internal organ remained inside his corpse.

The Incident and Background

Rakesh Chauhan was deployed on a merchant vessel operating in Venezuelan waters when he reportedly met his end under highly ambiguous circumstances.

  • The "Accident": On May 6, Chauhan’s father received a sudden telephone call from shipping representatives claiming that his son had met with an accident on duty and was being rushed to a hospital in Punto Fijo, Falcon State. He was officially declared dead on May 7.

  • Dismissive Employers: The victim's wife, Ranjana Chaurasiya, stated that the employer company was aggressively dismissive, refused to hand over Chauhan’s personal belongings, and failed to provide any formal autopsy report or clarity regarding his cause of death.

The Shocking Indian Post-Mortem Report

When the mortal remains finally arrived back in Uttar Pradesh, the family, sensing immediate foul play, requested a second post-mortem examination on Indian soil. The subsequent clinical findings left authorities and the family deeply horrified.

According to the Forward Seamen’s Union of India (FSUI), the official re-autopsy confirmed extensive surgical stitching, inside of which lay a completely empty cavity. The list of missing anatomical structures includes:

  • Vital Organs: The brain, heart, both lungs, kidneys, liver, and spleen.

  • Digestive Tract: The stomach, pancreas, and entire intestinal tract.

  • Throat Structures: The thyroid, hyoid bone, larynx, and trachea.

"The official Post-Mortem Report conducted in India reveals a horrifying truth: NOT A SINGLE ORGAN was found in the body," the FSUI stated in an urgent appeal to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Allegations of Murder and Paperwork Forgery

Chauhan's family has openly alleged that the sailor was murdered and targeted for illicit organ harvesting before his remains were packaged for repatriation.

Compounding the family's suspicion are severe administrative irregularities highlighted by the maritime union:

  • Forged Receipts: The official receipt acknowledging the repatriation of the mortal remains featured a misspelled, fabricated version of his wife's name ("Anjana Chauraisya" instead of Ranjana Chaurasiya).

  • Ghost Vessels: The vessel designated in Chauhan's official employment agreement failed to match the actual physical vessel on which he was deployed at the time of his death.

Diplomatic Intervention

Recognizing the sheer gravity of the human rights and legal violations, the Indian Embassy in Venezuela broke its silence, confirming it has escalated the matter directly to the highest local law enforcement tiers in Caracas.

"The Embassy of India, Caracas has sought a thorough investigation by Venezuelan authorities on the desecration and removal of organs of the mortal remains of late Shri. Rakesh Chauhan. Mission has continued to pursue this matter with the concerned local authorities since the incident came to light," the diplomatic mission stated.

As of today, the Venezuelan central government and local port authorities have yet to issue a public justification for the total organ evacuation, leaving New Delhi to aggressively push for an unredacted copy of the original medical charts.
